    If you look on the Ross-Tech site you will see that Australian suppliers are listed there. An alternative if you want a on-off fix, is to get someone local (typically a slab is the cost as far as I know).
    Watch - I got conned by a price quote on the phone. Then that amount was upped by 10% GST when the card docket came through.

    I got mine from Mount Auto Equip
    I was quoted $339 + $8 Couriers Please and agreed to debit from credit card. Then they debited $381 ie added GST. This is in direct contavention of Trade Practices Act (by law a quote must include GST). I rang them and they would not refund. Don't touch them with a bargepole!

    Quote When a price is stated, the Act requires that the total price to be paid, including GST, is clear to the buyer. If you give the impression that the represented price is the full price due when it is only part of the price, you are likely to contravene the Act. An example of this type of contravention is when the price is represented as the total price payable when it actually excludes GST. Unquote

    got mine for $349 from www.dubaddiction.com.au Aussie supplier that gets the cables from Ross Tech with full licence etc. 2 sorts of cables the $349 one which does the newer cars and the $499 cable which does all - including older cars. Free shipping - got mine the day after i ordered from Tim at Dubaddiction and licence was accepted by Rosstech in USA.

    Wink help required, possible end of year/new year

    hey guys, new to the forums.
    have a mark V golf gti, have a rcd510 (replacing my rcd500) on the way will be getting a newer revision of the canbus to fix the battery drain issue.
    will require assistance with vagcom coding and possibly installation of the unit =).
