    T5 Seat belt warning

Has anyone been able to turn off or stop the seatbelt warning ding ding ding when its not plugged in? I dont always need to be wearing the seatbelt when in the car so short of plugging it in anyway which is a pain.
    Any ideas or solutions?

Don't know about the T5, but I think on some VW models it can be done with VCDS.

Alternatively, if you're reasonably handy you should be able to make a copy of the seat belt connector and insert it into the stalk (or pick up a scrap belt from a wrecker or body shop and cut the connector off.)

If like every other VAG, then it should be here:

    Module 17 - Instruments

Select Long Coding - Byte 1, then untick Bit 1

    Try Camden GTI (Golf Loon).
