Reverting from Golf R LED Tail Lights to Stock Halogen (GTI MK6 MY2011.5)

    Hello Forummers

I've gone on a mission to revert everything back to stock (pending sale), I've switched my LED tails to stock halogen but I can't shake the bulb out warning light. Tried switching the 09 Cent Electronics Byte 18 to stock 00 but there is no effect!! Then I tried one of the VCDS drop down menus for Golk 5K Rest of World and it also doesn't work.

Anyone gone from LED to stock before? Any success?

I just installed the LED tails today and set byte 18 from 00 to 15, bulb out worked but lights went a bit crazy with left front DRL coming on with the brake... oh crap...

I read that setting byte 18 back to 00 directly wont work, read another forum where they recommended setting to 03 first and then go to 00. This did work for me but still have the bulb out errors, not game to try another value until i get some more advice on what it should be for my mk6 09 2.0 TDI.

I have gone from Halogen to LED and back to Halogen.

Try looking in this post, as this is what I used for setting the code:

    Hope it helps
