need vcds help with BT and OPS!! Errors galore!!

hi guys

i have just installed a oem bluetooth and 4 sensor rear park assist from forum diy's.

have now come to code it with vcds and can't get either to function at all.

car is a 09 mk5 gti
head unit is rns 510 gps
the soft code for the telephone is :312120
the park/steering assist menu is activated on canbus but it pops up with an error and cant access it.

Bluetooth is now working with the code 412120, pretty disappointed with the 9w2, think it will be going in the bin for a 9w7. Ops is still not responding though

Where are you located? If you code the park aid into the gateway and it shows error and you cant get into that control unit then make sure your powers annd earths and canbus wiring to the new installed unit is ok...VDUB..

Cheers I will check them again at the ops unit. Is there a way to check can high and low with a multimeter?
Also what pin/ how to do add one to the fuse box? At the moment I have the wire from the ops unit wedged in with a 10 amp fuse drawing power from the top row of fuses which is switched power

If you check CAN for convienence its usually shown as about 2.5 volts.....and drivetrain CAN about 4.5 volts but really you need a scope. Check powers and earth first..

You need to find a empty fuse hole with only one pin showing with the power type you need..then going from back of fuse box insert your pin into the empty slot and fit your fuse

To answer my own question, part number 000979021E repair wire about $10 each 0.5mm wire for 5-10 amp small fuse
