MY12 Tiguan vs RNS510 mystery...

The RNS510 swap is supposed to be plug and play, and it has proved to be the case, in the main.

I have the standard MDI and BT but have changed the RDS300 for a "F" RNS510.

The car has been coded to recognise the unit so now, the Nav instructions appear on the cluster screen.

Thing is, the mic works for the phone but voice control doesn't.

A scan has listed the following (I have cut and pasted the parts with errors).

The mic needs to be piggy-backed into the RNS510. It is currently only connected to the bluetooth module.
