MY11 Polo XDS Strength (Channel 36 not available)

The traditional channel 36 under Adaptation is showing "Not Available"

ABS module part number as reported by VCDS is 6R0 907 379 AF.

Any help on changing XDS strength on this car would be much appreciated.

Correct me if I'm wrong but you have the 77tsi?

I think this adjustment is only on the GTI. Only the GTI has the XDL. All other polos have EDL.
Anyone else with a 77tsi or diesel model done this that can clarify?

After lots of reading foreign threads, I got to the bottom of it!

I changed the ABS long coding from:

    230228E3417100B7C42E14E782D500801300

    to:

    230228E3417100B7C42E14E782D500801700

The GTi uses number 17 in that part of the long coding.

This unlocked channel 36 which I then set to number 2 and WOW!!! If you thought changing from 0 (medium default GTi setting) to 2 was good, you can imagine how good changing from no XDS at all straight to the 2-strong setting! It used to bang 1 wheel all the way up the hill turning and accelerating and now it just turns and grips. It honestly feels like 50% of the traction difference between FWD and AWD has been gained.
