I'd be buying direct from Rosstech, or one of their distributors.
If not, maybe consider OBDEleven.
Hey guys,
Pretty new to all this Vagcom VCDS stuff and wondering if this cable/software is okay?
VAG-COM VCDS 2018 - OBD2 Diagnostic Cable & Software (for VAG Cars: VW, AUDI, SEAT, SKODA)
Seems a good price for everything? Is it worth getting the VCDS 17.1 upgrade (will be used on a 2009 Octavia VRS)?
Cheers
Simon

You don't think it would be any good?
Quote from the site you're looking at:-
"Firstly, this is NOT the original RossTech VAG-COM kit as sold for $600+ on their website... (Even though we encourage you to get the original on their website right now or eventually... if you're truly serious, caring mechanic who deals with customer cars. But if you won't do that for whatever reason, then keep reading...)
Our version of VAG-COM cable uses a 3rd Party manufactured chip. That's why we can keep costs down — because we're not using Ross-Tech™ OEM chip — but 3rd party chip using identical firmware code."
RossTech have the three vehicle, genuine, original item for $199 against this knock off at $67, I know which way I'd be going.
