The independent VW specialist workshop should be able to help you. I'm not using VCDS for these kind of jobs, so can't help you. My other scanner does it automatically.

What vehicle are you trying to code?
I had my Amarok coded by Wakelings in Campbelltown, charged me half an hour labour last October.

Westfalia form JKU, (the same as the VW one.) it has LED compatibility, which is the new version so better.

Got this from Euro cars could be right as im using a 7 pin round to a 7 pin flat it only pick up one of the tail lights
    Hello Ian,

    my installer told me that:

    1. the boot lid has to be closed for testing (many people forgets about this )
    2. when you code this module to Australia only one pin for the lights works, it is 5 OR 7, we can't remember now, but the point is, you have to check which one is it with the 5w - 20w bulb and then check if its the same pin in the trailer wiring.

AFAIK the westfalia module is mostly plug and play, but sadly the most important part is not coded. the ABS module will change the active stability when you have the trailer attached, the CECM will disable your rear parking sensors and the TCU will change the shift points.

there were a few check boxes in VCDS to get it all working correctly, but its not a huge job.

im using the 13 pin euro plug.
