    Coding DRL lights

    Hello everyone,

I've ran into a frustration. I've found out that my GTI polo (MY14/MK6) which I've recently purchased (2nd hand) has it's DRLs on all the time. I was wondering if anyone near my area (Melbourne) who knew what they were doing wouldn't mind helping me turn them off using VCDs. Please?

    Let me know.
    Thank you

Aren’t they meant to be on all the time, but just dim when the main light come on?

I'm pretty sure they are. I'm just looking for a way to recode the coding so that they are OFF. I don't want them on but at the same time I don't want to cut any wires. Asking online ppl have said that VCDs are a way to do it.

    Mhmm..

In the user manual for my 2011 Caddy there are instructions on how to turn off the DRL. Have you tried checking the user manual for your Polo for similar instructions?

You know it’s a safety feature?

Under ADR rules it is illegal to turn them off.

Why would you You cant see them when you are driving the thing and anything to help you be seen can only be good
