I got a generic USB-OBD cable off ebay and it works perfectly with VCDS-Lite...

P.s. I paid $99 for the VCDS-Lite licence from Ross Tech after I tested to see if the cable worked

I need to recode my RCD-510 to support a RVC.

I ordered a hex-usb-can cable from a chinese supplier at alibaba.com. Still waiting for it to arrive but they say it should be compatible with 10.6.3. It was only $35 delivered so i don't see it as much of a risk. I'll let you know if it works.
