Skoda Fabia Launching in July 2011!

The Fabia has been confirmed for a July on-sale debut and sale date alongside the Yeti (both debuting at the Aus Intl Motorshow in Melbourne). Read about it here:http://www.caradvice.com.au/113130/skoda-fabia-confirmed-for-australian-launch-in-july/

They need the whole range here for a chance at car of the year however, so they better get the RS and wagon here before November! I'm happy they're finally on their way, and also because they're a lot closer than I expected too.

I agree that the whole range needs to come out here, for a shot at car of the year. At least we had a start of the full range being made available. The second half of the year should be good one for Skoda sales with the Fabia and Yeti on board. Hopefully the Roomster finds its way back here as well the full Skoda range.

Yeah I saw it on their Facebook page. I'll have to ask them more about it when I go back there this year for round two of my work experience .

The Yeti has to undercut the Tiguan because of the 2WD model and because it's a physically smaller car. The Fabia is being brought in as a 77TSI 5-door which means that even if it's priced near the Polo Trendline 3-door it's still undercutting it, which is what I think they'll do. Otherwise they'll price them similarly but give them more equipment.
