    Roomster 1st Impressions

I have a Roomster in the driveway atm. It has 301 klm on the clock, is bright "wrx" blue and is a 1.9TDi manual. It took a few klms to get used to the drive, but it is well finished and has a funky 2 tone dash and trim interior. The rear doors are HUGE, but there's enough room to swing a cat in the back. Seems as if it could be economical too. Downside is the initial lag before the turbo cuts in and you can't drive much more than snails pace with the driver's window down - the wind noise from the B pillar is terrible. I'll add a pic and more words after a few more klms.

    wind noice

I checked again and still found the wind noice irritating, but overall the car was thought to be "funky" "cool" and was moe attractive to the younger set. It could easily fit a bar fridge in it but we just filled it with cans of drink for the WA VW show.
