    Fabia vRS demise

Saw an article in the SMH today advising that Skoda is going to delete the vRS model from the Fabia range as demand is too low world wide. Bugger. Just after I got one. Bugger!

Not a big surprise there. Skoda has been starting to steal a bit too much of Volkswagens thunder for a while now. So time to make the next Fabia as boring and cheap looking as a Rapid so that if you want performance you step up and buy a Volkswagen GTI Polo or Golf. Also I think the performance 1.4L twincharger will soon disappear from all VAG models.
2012 Fabia II VRS Estate - APR stage 2 tune, Custom 2.5" turbo back full stainless exhaust with ceramic coated dump pipe, Harding Performance Cold air intake, Wagner Tuning Competition Intercooler, GFB DV+ diverter valve, Braille B2317RP battery, Eibach pro kit springs, Bilstein B8 shocks, Harding Performance F+R ARB, Super Pro bushes, Porsche 986 Boxster S front brake calipers, 330x28mm front rotors, Ferodo DS2500 front pads and Remsa rear pads, Enkei RPF1 17x8 et.35 with 235/40R17 Yokohama AD08R tyres, Maxton front splitter and Superskoda fender flares.

Don't you think it will be good for your resale?

    MK4 R32's are valuable
Seat Cupra's attract higher prices than other cars their age
Your Fabia Vrs will be just the same

Skoda Octavia RS of course a 125 TDI would be an excellent lease vehicle

Depends if you bought a vRS at full retail or at the very low prices you can buy them at now.

Is there a thread on VWW about the Rapid that might finally arrive next year? I like the idea of a Corolla competitor at a Yaris price. Rapid seems to tick all the boxes and the wagon version looks nifty!
