    auto dimming rear view mirror

Has anyone fitted an auto-dimming rear view mirror to a Fabia?

I know they aren't available here but I've seen a few Fabias advertised in the UK with auto dimming mirrors so it must be possible. (might even be a factory option there.)

My options would be to fit one from a VW Polo (they are part of a comfort pack), or get a Skoda one from overseas, or fit one of those Chinese ones which also have a reversing camera incorporated.

Is there ignition-switched power up there by the mirror?

Is that the only power connection it requires?

Anyone know if a Polo one will fit without melodrama?

    Thanks.

My Octavia has one - it's nothing to write home about
Saves you having to flick the mirror position at night - that's about all
It also gives the image a green tint at night which is not wonderful
The BMW one is much more active and useful

I would not go for a Chinese one - low quality LCD
2012.1 Skoda Octavia VRS DSG Wagon - Carbonio cold air intake and pipe - HPA Motorsports BBK 355mm rotors 6 pot calipers
APR Stage II ECU - APR 3" exhaust down pipe & high flow catalyst
APR/HP Roll bars - Eibach springs and Bilstien shocks
Supaloy lower control arms - Enkei 18*8 Wheels
