Wow, very nice car but it's shame that the ACT plates don't quite fit the front bumper. I bought a demo RS from Lennock but was able to replace the ACT plates with Euro plates because I live just over the border in NSW. The ACT Govt could squeeze more money out of people if they offered Euro plates. Don't know why they don't.

I think that window tinting would look good too. But that's just me!

Totally agree on the Euro plates space-godzilla... i have had a euro car ( 2003 Cooper S with NSW euro plates) and i loved the look..

Yes its a pity with the ACT gov being pig headed.. but all up thats nothing new for ACT Rego

PS Tinting was part of the Deal, but I was not willing to wait another week.. I hope the Tint will be done this week.

where r u getting ur tinting done?
    i'm guessing at the dealer.

i'm trying to organise for mine to get tinted by the dealers. got a price of $395 from Colin. trying to confirm it and book it in now.

Im going to have it done by SolarTint at Fyshwick, as the guy the dealer users only has 2 tints to choose from.

i've booked mine in at solartint fyshwick too - dropping it in on monday.
unfortunately the dealer service dept haven't taken far too long to get back to me - so i went elsewhere this arvo.

i ended up going with non-metallic "black pearl". apparently the "charcoal" has a greenish tinge.

Just a question... Why did you go with non metallic?

i've heard that metallic affects radio/gps reception, hence the rear window needs to b non-metalic due to embedded aerial/antenna in there.
so options were - metallic on the sides & non-metallic on the rear,
    or
    all round non-metallic.

plus i don't like the shiny mirror like finish.

sorry CanberravRS for hijacking ur towbar fitting thread.
