In the interests of not driving obsessive compulsives nuts, I didn't want to mention this, but in the OCtys the seat isn't square on with the wheel. I think you will find the same thing with the Superb, they do it on purpose and I don't know why. But if you study where the wheel is I think you might find its offset slightly to one side....possibly the right from the problem you are describing.

In our RS one side of the bolster was always sticking into me...

Well, I only had my car for 4 days, but I've never found such problem within that 4 days. If anything I would say it's much more comfortable than the Yeti I'm driving now. The comment by my guest from USA when I still had the Superb was, everytime he sat in my car, he just wanted to doze off. And he really did!

Anyway, I find German cars all tend to be a bit firm on seats. So I don't think Skoda is any different, but at least Superb was comfortable to me.

    I miss my car.....

    Addition after 2 weeks:

After 2 weeks of driving the demo superb, I know what you are talking about. I wonder if it's because the seat is actually narrower than other luxury saloons.

After a week in my V6 Superb wagon I realise the seats in my old Audi quattro were rubbish. Such support I have not had since I had Recaros in my Dino 30 years ago. For some reason the Germans (and to a lesser extent, the French) offset the pedal box which makes you tilt your hips a bit. Luckily I am a "light" build guy and fit between the thigh bolsters nicely. Just filled the petrol tank for the first time (Lennock gave me a FULL tank to drive away) and pleasantly surprised.
