Count me in for 1! Need a spare.

Love my Superb V6 also, as much as my vRS almost!

No idea what I could buy next in the same class of vehicle that could possibly be better.

Had our Superb in at Brisbane Prestige being serviced last Tuesday and they have a new Superb wagon. White with large silver writing down the side to make it easier for me not to mistake it for an Octavia.
It got parked inside the service section and I didn't see it again that evening when picking up my car so am not sure if it will be on display in their yard/showroom yet.

Maybe if they don't drop the price - the new 4x4 Superb is $1765 more than the Passat Alltrack which has the better motor (well newer). Not sure about the rest of the spec.

Back in April when ours was in for service we were told the Facelift was coming this year, but they didn't have actual dates set for it yet (at least that is what they said).

Our 3 year lease is up next June, and it is highly likely that the next one will be another Superb. I don't think there is a combination like the Superb on the market. Closest thing would be the Passat (prefer the Superb and the Superb has more passenger space), Peugeot 508 and Citroen C5 (haven't looked at them so won't comment). At least with the release being this month, we will have plenty of time to get the order in - spent 2 months with a clapped out Camry between lease cars waiting for the Superb to arrive).
Have to say that the FL Superb is disappointing. Feels cheaper than ours does - the cargo rails and divider in the boot have been very useful, and surprisingly, I think the fake wood in our version is better than the new all chrome version. Under 6 months left on the lease now, and the replacement won't be a VAG. Don't want another DSG, amongst the smelly sock A/C, creaks, rattles, MDI that only plays sound out of the 2 right hand speakers (which still isn't fixed after replacing the MDI cord, but apparently they all do that....) and the slow columbus. I still can't work out how a car at 45,000kms can feel so old. I traded my last car at 80,000kms, and it felt brand new compared to the Superb.

Although we did test drive a Peugeot 508. It was a car that made the Superb seem, well, superb.

I have decided to wait for the 2015 Passat as it will be a huge leap in technology and features and the new Superb will have to be something special to get anywhere near it. Mine has done 110,000 k's and has no rattles, squeeks etc and apart from the passenger seat having a mind of its own on occasion continues to be a great car in every way. I think I might buy a used MX5 to satisfy my need to go around corners quickly as I can't get my son to see the advantages of buying a road registered clubman so I can use it.

Perhaps we've been unlucky - who knows.

With the lease changing in June we've been looking at alternatives. So far the shortlist includes XC70 D5, X3 20d, or potentially a Q5 and live with the DSG. Or, as we seem to coming back to, another Superb. When we chose this car back at the end of 2011, with delivery in June 2012, the Superb was a standout in the marketplace. Now, the market has moved but nothing combines the space of the Superb, and the driving dynamics of a 'normal' car quite so well. A Passat may come close but I doubt the new Passat will be here before June 2015.

This really suprises me considering some of the scathing posts you have made about Skoda/VW/Superb
