Skoda Australia - Panel Shop waited nearly 26 days for parts delivery from Skoda Aust

Hello Guys $ Girls,

Well, I have my Superb back from the panel beaters after the repairer had to wait nearly 26 days for parts. It was only damage to my rear bumper. Luckily my rear tail gate (Boot lid) wasn't damaged or touched but a 26 day wait for the rear bar is just ludicrous. I sent a message through to Volkswagon Aust and gave them a real blast about lack of original parts in Australia. I'm not talking about rare parts I'm talking about every day Mechanical & Panel Beater commodities such as bumper bars, tail/head lights, bonnets, etc. Items that are normally damaged from normal parking bay type collisions. No...Skoda has to bring them in to the Country. Not good enough Volkswagon Aust. Every day type parts should be on hand and plentiful.

On a better note, panel beater did an excellent job at matching paint and lining everything up to original specs. Everything was checked and double checked. Very happy with quality of work and I would recommend them.
