    Recall 37G8

According to Skoda Aust. our April 12 build 118TSI Elegance has not been included in any of the DSG specific recalls of the last year or so which are subject of so much discussion. However just noted that Trivett P/Matta did in fact carry out the above numbered recall bulletin work when they had the car for a free "Peace of mind check" shortly after we purchased the car last August.
Anyone know exactly what 37G8 covers?

DSG software update for the mechatronis. Nothing to worry about. You may find that the transmission may reacts slightly different as from before it went in to the dealer. The basic settings would of been carried after the software update as well, but the transmission will settle to your driving style over a few ks.

Thanks for that scottyc. From looking at the various mentions in aware's link I suspected might be software rather than hardware although none seemed to actually spell that out.
