Finally got a hit on the WWL Tracking site! Ours in on the FAUST - Expecting delivery late November now.

Having said that; I'm assuming the 3 vessels that arrived 5th, 10th & 14th August had a lot of Skodas on-board! I'm suddenly seeing them everywhere - to the point that I think I'm averaging 2 or 3 a day now. I know there's another thread that deals with this but am I the only one who's noticing it?

Thought that i would get some more details on the ship carrying the prizes for lots of us.

Bit ironic that the ship carrying all the cars is made by Daewoo - It is the heavy engineering part of the business though

MY11 Octavia RS; 2.0 TSI DSG; Liftback; Sprint Yellow; Sat Nav (standard Fit now); Front Parking Sensors; Supreme Onyx Leather; Bluetooth and Alarm.
    Ordered - 8th Jun 2010; Built - 31st Aug 2010
    Delivered 12/11/10 - 12.30.

bad news fellas......i think the captain of the ship has gone mental & is doing burnouts with the ship just outside the port of durban!!!

I understand that they often play a game called "Spin the Skoda off the deck" when they get bored.

bhahahhaa. i would've thought they liked to play "rock the boat" - which ever cars remaining bolted down, undamaged/unscratched gets to stay on the ship, n hence delivered!!!

but this is weird though - i've heard of planes circling when they're in a holding pattern, cause obviously they can't "park mid-air" and wait for their turn to land!! however why would a ship need to do burnouts, err, circle, whiles its waiting for its turning. won't this b costly for them by burning fuel?
surely the captain can put the ship in 'park', put the handbrake on & "play rock the boat" or "spin the skoda off the deck" till he gets the green light to come in & dock!!!

Do you guys know if any dealers have also ordered stock in this shipment for their display rooms?

I'm contemplating getting a Superb Wagon in stock (and being a bit flexible on the options and colours), rather than wait another 6-5,000,000 months!

I know Canberra's Lennock has a TDI White Superb Wagon.

And as for the ship.. they are probably playing tango with Pirates, LOL
