Hail Damage

I have just called GIO, submitted a claim, they said they will get it fixed.
The repairer is Australasian Hail Network AHN. The GIO lady told me they are one of the best in fixing hail damage.
She also told me this will not affect my NCD.

But it will affect your premium

Paintless dent removal guys do a fantastic job so long as the hail has not damaged the paint. I've had the rear quarter panel fixed and these guys are amazing - no sign of damage done by the twat that did the runner on me.

Hopefully they don't rush thorough the repairs as there are a ### load of damaged cars in Sydney's North West after last Saturday's storm ...

Anyone else notice that AHN "partners" with all the Suncorp owned insurance companies, similar to how Smart smash repairers work almost exclusively for the Suncorp owned insurance companies (Smart smash repairers are 49% owned by Suncorp) . . .

It is what it is, not much I could've done more, it was like a war zone on Forest Way... A couple of guys drove on the walkway, trying to hide under trees... Will see how the repair goes, I have some dents on the pillars as well... I'm hoping the will be able to correct that as well.

The paintless dent repairers did a good job with my colleague's Beetle. Good luck with your repairs.

The ownership/relationship should not impact on the quality of the work, it is just more an advisory to take with a grain of salt the lavish praise that any of the Suncorp-owned insurance companies will heap on S.M.A.R.T. and AHN when they politely force you to use them.

My car was assessed today. They said it is definitely repairable with PDR and the car will go back to its original state. To be honest, after seeing damage on other cars, mine is not too bad. I will have to drop it for repairs in 2 months though.
