Not for failing off, for the paint fading....
Just been advised by my dealership that they have received a recall on the front and rear 'Skoda' emblem badges due to them falling off. All dealerships have been advised in writing and that new style silver and black badges (On new models) will be supplied as a replacement free of charge.

Is this for Superbs only, or all Skodas?
Now gone.... 2012 Skoda Fabia RS
I'm not sure. Previous thread mentioned that the badges are being replaced because they fade. Again...my dealership informed me it's because they fall off. I'm not sure what to believe. My car is booked in for Friday along with some other minor glitches. My dealership has a 'Warranty' officer appointed and that's who the recall was directed to. I suggest you make contact with your nearest dealer but it would be a safe bet that it will affect all Skoda vehicles as the badge is the same across the product range.
Shakey
They had to be hounded into a transmission recall, it seems a badge must be more important.
My Superb is booked for this arvo for badge recall... Dealer daid it is due to the paint fading on the original one...
does anyone have the bulletin number for the recall?
that will confirm if its just for the superb range, or across the board.
interesting though - my badge hasn't "faded". having said that, i still wouldn't mind having new style badges fitted for free.
my warranty ends next month!

DOH!
Both my front and rear badges had 'faded', which seems to be layperson language for 'clearcoat lifted off and looks like ****e'. I bought new badges out of my own pocket around 6 months ago.

Mine got replaced when the car went in for the 15k service in March this year. Didn't even know they were going to replace it until I went to pick the car up!
