    I hate that old argument about depreciation/resale value. A car is owned for many reasons, but unless it's a purely business vehicle I don't think the value at the end of ownership is all there is.

    I bought the car to own and drive TODAY, and that pleasure has a value to me which I think is worth more than any potential loss when the lease runs out. In other words, I love it every time I get in it. I could have bought a Ford or Holden for better resale value, but wouldn't feel the same every day between purchase and disposal.

    Agree with you CanberravRS, Skoda's resale value equation is not a problem anymore. Its not a flooded market, so people who know the name don't have much to choose from. The more it becomes known for quality like the Superb the better
