    I thought your wife was very lucky, only broke the tail light ,which you can replace your self .

    Surely a wrecker will have one would be cheapest if there is no paint damage

    looks like a very cheap repair. you got off lightly my friend

    but, tell the wife its really bad blah blah and tell her it will cost about 3 x what it will actually cost. then buy something cool

    hmm

    doesn't seem like i can find any skoda wreckers online, is this because there aren't any/many? or they're just not online.. ?

    any suggestions on where i start to find this part?

    Most larger wreckers have an intranet service where they can seek parts at other wreckers. I am about to have a new rear left tail light fitted under warranty due to moisture. It is a wagon and no idea of the cost but the Skoda dealer had one within 1 week. To repair your light would be tricky and probably illegal.

    Your car doesn't look that old. I doubt whether you'd find a tail light at a wrecker. Most wreckers want you to purchase left & right as they won't separate. I'd probably purchase a new one. Gluing it is also not a good idea. You'll have water in your boot in no time....then the real issues start.
