Andrew's colour coding looks excellent. It's on the agenda for me (when the $s situation gets a bit healthier ) or I might do it myself.
brackie! your post caught my attention... colour coding on my TDI would be great, and it is something i have been thinking about for a while. are there photos about of the final result?? if so could you IM or link them for me?

Hi. There are heaps of pics of my GTI and a customers white one in my posts. Mainly in the photos section. The last ones i think are in the topic, "gtigrl took me shopping today". There are many pics of our GTIs on here. That was what Brackie was relating to and there is no reason why you couldn't do it with a TDI or other. It should have been an option, for sure!
    Cheers, Andrew

I got a manual, i'm just old fashioned. Even if it is a little bit slower

Just out of curiosity how many dollars are we looking at for the colour coding?? Did you guys use factory paint or did the spray painter match it up??

We got a backyarder to do them here in Hobart. He did the skirts and bumpers in a filler spray to get rid of the grain and matched the colours perfectly. Used special paint and charged us $ 600 all up for both of the GTIs. Not a lot of profit there.....

I don't know how much you will pay over thee. We were very lucky to find this guy. The finish is high gloss, the same as the rest of the cars. Looks very factory and shoud have been!!!

    Hot GTI - White

Look into painting the bonnet black with the lines: refer to the Oettinger car

    Looks awsome,

pologti is currently having his bonnet painted black in the centre profile. That is a Polo of course but it might look interesting.
