You can leave the rego sticker on if it's a "current" registration. (maybe even if it isn't considering they are no longer a valid certificate)

Cosmetic reasons for me - i hate having any stickers on the windows. So the rego label was promptly removed from both our cars in early Jan. I keep the rego sticker as well as the servicing sticker inside the owners manual folder thingy in the glovebox.....just incase i ever need to reference them etc.

They don't have to be removed. It's no longer illegal to display old rego stickers.
Stickers haven't been required since 1 January, I just renewed my rego on Thursday so thought it was a good time to take the old one off, old habits I guess.

Stage 2 GIAC DSG Tune - Thanks Tim!

Eurojet Intercooler - Also, thanks Tim!

First impression: The DSG tune is amazing for the car. Shifting is even more seamless than before and it's damn smart. In sport mode with traction control engaged it automatically gears up to reduce wheel spin at a lower RPM. The regular factory tune never did this for me.

The manual shifting is a lot faster too on down and up shift with no jerkyness either way. Haven't tested the Launch Control just yet with the new RPM limit.

Changed the DSG fluid in the Jetta today. Much smoother shifts and doesn't feel like there's drag on the transmission when stopped in traffic in drive now. Win

Filled up with Shell Premium ULP - $86.56 including 8c off a litre, over $90 without for ~52l at around 1.77! That was Monday and a new record!
