Fitted a Forge Twintake on Sunday. Very happy with it so far. Quite noisy, but my car kind of is anyway.

    Hey John!

That looks really cool man!, I can't imagine the noise sporty?

    installed jetex panel filter

replaced the stock paper filter on the GTI with a high flow gauze filter by jetex. pulling the engine cover off was fun...but successfully got it off without breaking anything. (thanks to jmac for the tips).

can say there is a noticable difference... a little intake whine, and improved throttle response in low revs. enough to get a smile.

only wanted to do a basic mod as the car is going to the mrs this year...

Got my HPA KW SHS coilovers fitted to my R32 today. Extremely happy with result! Car sits much better on the road now. Feels really good dynamically especially through windy hills. Its not the "on-rails" feeling that i had with the lib but somehow a more palatable blend of tight handling without compromising comfort. One thing I noticed is when I started the car, the huge reduction in vibration and shudder, can hardly hear that the motor is running! And that horrible underdamped feel is gone!

Oh, I did manage to get a scrape from the front wheels under hairpin tight turns under hard acceleration, not sure if this is an issue yet.
