Ha Maris!!! Rental unit mate and pretty cheap. Got the greatest views over the bridge and river too.
Had the chance to get over to the VOVW courtesy of Kerren A as well but I have a hell of a lot on my plate at present. Would have been good to have caught up with you there mate, and to see how clean you can get a Mk5 too!!!
    Cheers, Andrew

In all that mumbo jumbo are you saying you are not coming over to Melb for DOVW?

Can't believe that it is not a tax write off (as is the rental)!!

By the way.....the Mk V is the CLEANEST VW I have bought. It's not going to be too much effort to bring it up a little better

I look like buying a white carbra from Robcos to go over. Just to make it easier.

    Maris

PS.....Mine may not always be the cleanest, but I'll make it HARD for you to win the class!!

There must be a few people that have though as you can now buy the black badge from TM Tuning for US$55

    IMO it looks heaps better.

Reverse parked it into a gutter, scratching both passenger side wheels.

That sounds like Driver Error, not bad luck. Still, it's horrible when that happens, and it happens so easily, you wondre how you didn't avoid it.

Check out the tread on repainting an alloy wheel.

    I hope this helps.

Not doubting its driver error, but its the 4th hit of bad luck i've had with the car. I haven't curbed an alloy wheel in 4 yrs... (ripped chunks of rubber off sidewalls and the little lead balancing weights off my patrol's tyres while driving over rocks though...but that doesnt count) Ridiculously close call with what I'm convinced was a drunk driver judging by their actions after swerving away from me.
