I might add that they arent coils bro they are the H&R Comfort Cup kit which is springs and shocks, still very firm though. The wheels came today but no tyre shops were open of course so maybe tomorrow. Not sure exactly what the denvers weigh, think its 12 kegs? but the RPF1's weigh 6.9 kegs!!!

Thanks Mate, I'm not after coilovers, just interested in the srprings. Does the H&R match well with the OEM shocks? Or is better to get shocks as well? Yeah, Denvers are approx 12kgs! That will be a whopping 20kg weight advantage when you put on the new shoes!

Its never ideal to do just springs, even if dropping only 25 - 30mm, the valving in shock absorbers is designed to work with the rates and height of the stock springs. Most standard shock absorbers are barely good enough for standard springs due to keeping costs down. If you do the ride will be crashy, harsh and a bit bouncy and the shockers just wear out twice as fast. I done it on a few cars when I was younger and never again.
Save for some shocks and springs which were designed to be run together and you will have a tight well dampened ride

    Eg..

Replaced rubber gromits for engine cover, thanks to Lucas from Eurospeed for his time and patience finding some for me as VW didn't, when no one wants to help Lucas is there!

Oh and ran at Sandown on Thursday with Fab and Dave
