Hahahahaha...We get them up here in North QLD, and my mate used to keep them as pets...!!! His were the size of dinner plates.
still havent managed to get the visor one out..im scared if i poke it it'll drop onto the dash and run inside one of the vents and then there's no hope of getting it out :P
Had mine washed and cleaned at Caltex Hand Wash, corner Murray and Albert Rds, Preston. Not cheap, but the car looks like new! :)
Washed mine too - well I had mine washed at Chadstone shopping centre - the guys in the underground carpark at the David Jones end - best $35 I ever spent, car looks better than when I picked it up!
Gonna go for a blast tonight, see if I cant grubby it up some!

The door sill plates arrived. Now to wait for the weather to cool before fitting. Thanks to Barneyboy for the link :-)

I used silicone in & around the tape - tape held it in place until the silicone dried.
+1 for the alcohol clean.
They look good. And interestingly people seem to lift their feet over them, rather than scratching them. I guess 'cause they can see where the sill is now - before it was a dark grey background?
