As a part of it's scheduled service I got the brake pads upgraded to Kevlar-ceramics. They have a nice lime green finish and should stop the epic levels of brake dust!

After fitting my Eonon D5153 last week I have been troubleshooting the reversing camera. I connected it to the reversing light for power, and running the single wire (coaxial?) to the green corresponding socket on the radio. I tested it with the ignition on and the engine not running. It worked fine, over-riding everything with a clear colour picture. However, with the engine running, I select reverse and the screen goes black with only a camera icon in the top left corner. I pressed the “reset”, and even disconnected the head unit from the CANBUS and the wiring harness in order to. “Turn it off and turn it on again” But it still remembers not to work when the engine is running. I would appreciate a cure for this problem. Can anyone help?

Buy an RNS-510. All your problems will go away.

Changed the oil this arvo...Went with Penrite 10 Tenths 10W-40.
See if it helps bring down oil temps.

Optima D34 fitted in the boot of the Jetta, charged by a Redarc BCDC1220. ARB fridge in there running full time. Cold beers ahoy!!!
