Debadged the front
i fitted my coilovers and also put my mk 6 gti seats into my golf 2.0 TDI
Debadged the front
MKV GTI - sold
Renault Clio IV RS200 Cup Trophy - sold
Volvo V60 (P* Performance pack)
Replaced my headlight, parker and fog light bulbs with nice bright white bulbs (as opposed to the standard yellow).
Took about an hour to remove the bumper and headlights then re-install, not a hard job and great end result.

Yep, it's the easiest way, you'd need very very small hands with very long fingers otherwise (and that's just to change the high and low beams), I don't know how you'd get at the indicators without removing the headlight assembly.
There's only about 16 torx screws to remove the whole bumper, and it's not hard to do alone.
I've invested in some car stands (one for each side) and a trolley jack to make the job as easy as possible, it'd be REALLY easy if I had a mate who owns a workshop and hoist
Ahh, it's definitely not the easiest way. You don't need to take the bumper off to remove any bulbs, especially from the MkV. I'm by no means a small guy and I have hamhock hands and I can get in there pretty easily. I've removed every one of the bulbs from my headlights (original and new Hella's) without any issues. Even removed the headlights themselves without removing the entire bumper!
As long as you're fine with taking the bumper off every time you have a blow-out then by all means, but it's really quite easy to swap the globes without removing it. I can't imagine how bloody big your hands are, lol.
