Looks good Andy.
Any reason you went for a catback that's 2.5" which is standard size?
I like the look of the downpipe though.
Wonder if it comes with gaskets bolts and such.

Yeah good question, although the standard is 2.5" the mkv exhaust restriction isn't from the pipe diameter in the cat back but rather the dump pipe and to a lesser extent the centre resonator. I will be getting the dump pipe section in the near future too.
So not so fazed that its 2.5" since the mufflers will flow better and it'll sound boss ;)

Today I had a new gateway installed to fix possible battery drain issue after upgrading from a RCD300 to a RCD510 on Thursday in my 2007 Golf TDi. Absolutely loving the new stereo.
Cheers.
The big screen certainly looks better than the RCD300 letter slot doesn't it!
definitely. I also found the blue display of the old one quite bright during night trips.
I've discovered the RCD510 doesn't like big SD cards. It works with 16gb card but it takes a long time to scan it. It seems, the small the card, the faster it is.
I had new wheels (GTC GT-CX 18" x8.5 matte anthracite) put on my car. I decided to go for wider tyres with lower profile (Goodyear F1 Asymmetric 2 235/40R18) to hopefully get better traction and better handling. I'm not too fussed about better acceleration but hopefully will get less wheel spin. The wheels are 10kg each corner so reasonably light for 18" wheels. Here are some pics:

H and R springs installed on the jetta.
Wow. Feels so much more planted but the ride feels pretty much stock. Nice drop too.
