VW's 3 Year Extended Warranty

Just got a quote from kim at southern classic cars. $2200 for new car extended warranty on r32. They are offering $1429 for the extended used car warranty with the $2000 claim limit.
I then spoke to eric at burwin vw. he told me that from october there has been a massive price increase & that you can forget about the old prices. new price is $2200 discounted from rrp of $3500.

I have tried to call jamil, his on holidays until tomorrow. If anyone has bought extended warranty in the last couple weeks & still got old price can you let me know where you got it from.
They also told me that if you got a quote prior to price rise & they still have it on computer that it is still valid

Jaz no longer works at SCC and I have been unable to get hold of Jamil he was not at work yesterday

My warranty runs out this Thursday..i hope i get hold of someone before then!!! Please let me know if anyone is able to contact Jamil.

Well mine ran out on the 3 November (3 years old) and due to not having one issue or warranty claim
not even a rattle after 40000k's I decided not to extend the warranty.
Probably just jinxed myself.

Have you tried calling his mobile no. or emailed him?

he mobile has been off. I think he is back today.

Best price so far is $1950. I will try jamil today.

Just contacted Narallen Subaru and they told me that Jamil is coming back to work on the 6th of Dec.

Great Jamil returns after my warranty ends..what are the chances? Is there anyone else i can contact for a good price?????

It is kinda hard to feel sorry for you when you've left it till the 11th hour to get things sorted and you can't even call the dealers (even when the contact details have been given to you)
