It's probably the valve body in the gearbox, however proper diagnosis is ideal.
It won't be a cheap fix regardless of what you do.
Hi Everyone
First time on this forum so apologies if im in the wrong area
I have a 07 Jetta Auto Non DSG , the car has done 160,000kms and hasn't skipped a beat till now .
I'm starting to notice the transmission playing up when the car travels for distances longer than 10kms. The car surges ahead when it changes gears . The revs increase and there is a clunking noise when the gears change , even when i put the car in reverse .
I just wanted to ask if anyone could recommend a transmission specialist that can help. VolksMuller is located close to me , however i feel that their quotes are out of my price range .
Thanks
