Which tool needed for rear caliper piston retraction?

I need to replace the rear pads on a 2005 Golf 2.0 litre FSI and have been looking for a suitable tool to retract the rear pistons which doesn't cost an arm and a leg. I've found a couple on eBay for $25-30 but are they of sufficient quality to do the job and also do I need a different retractor for each side with threads going in opposed directions?

Thanks for the reply. So the single tool is okay for both sides and its a normal right hand thread?

It threads in the same way no matter what side of the car you are on. Those ebay tool kits will be fine.

Thanks that's good to know. The other thing is many of these ebay sellers say thay are in Sydney, Melbourne etc but I suspect they are really in China (some of their negative feedback states this too) and I don't want to wait 3-4 weeks for delivery. Has anyone bought one of these and had delivery in a few days, and can you tell me which seller you used?

I think if you are still considering one of these, you need to ask the seller if they are suitable for the mk5 Golf & in stock in Aust.
Understand how it works, troubleshoot logically BEFORE replacing parts.

    I bought this one.
Universal 22pc Disc Brake Caliper Piston Rewind Tool KIT Auto Wind Back CAR SET | eBay

It took a week to come. Appears to be a German company.

There was one item missing. They dealt with the issue promptly and sent a replacement. I was really suprised at that.
