install; i'd recommend prestige and performance.
buy; may be ebay? a store on there sells whiteline gear and is brisbane based.
As suggested, anyone no where to buy and/or install sway bars in Brisbane?

ps if its the rear sway only it should be a slice of urine to fit yourself and save a few quid.
depending on when you are planning on installing, i may be able to give you a hand if you like...
We have SuperPro headquarter here in Brisbane.
Brakesdirect.com.au / GSL Rally Sport sells Whiteline sway bars too.
Rear sway bar install is super easy.
Front.... i have been quoted $390-$450 just for the install excluding alignment here in Brisbane / Gold Coast. Alignment is extra $100-$120.
In Sydney, it costs around $350 fully installed and aligned for both front and rear by a reputable shop. Back then when I was in Sydney I was quoted $300 for front and rear install but I did not go ahead thinking I would try having the rear on first..
My new H&R front sway bar has been in its box for the last 2 years plus
I am contemplating a DIY (but a hoist access will make life a lot easier!) but will give another mechanic a try for a reasonable quote first.
It seems to be a big job (or so they say) by some mechanics. Not so by those who do know how to do it and have done it many times. In fact I rang another independent VW mechanic in North Brisbane today and I was asked why (why installing a different sway bar?).
Some resources I have compiled:
Volkswagen Workshop Manuals > Running gear, axles, steering > Front suspension, drive shafts > Subframe, anti-roll bar, suspension links > Removing and installing anti-roll bar
Volkswagen Workshop Manuals > Running gear, axles, steering > Front suspension, drive shafts > Subframe, anti-roll bar, suspension links > Removing and installing anti-roll bar
