Try N 906 931 01 32mm T piece with provision for temp sender. Used on some 2L TDI s. Pete
Hi all,
Still progressing with SplitR32 bus to be ready for Vits in Albury this year and was wondering if someone could help with some advice.
I require the 2 pin coolant temp sensor normally installed near radiator and also a housing for it BUT different
to the factory setup.
The housing needs to be a "T" style with provision for the sensor and connections on each end for 32mm rubber
radiator hose..( Not the quick connect style ) Which housing to use is the problem.
Can anyone help ..?
Regards Tony

So sick!
Ėts for the secondary air injection. there is an electric fan to blow air into the exhaust manifold on cold start up to light up the cats.

Once again ..Thankyou for sharing your knowledge.
I gather I can just block it off..Hopefully with the original plug "top"
After more research I found there is no return line required for the fuel injection to the fuel tank as the pressure regulation
is performed by a regulator in an in-line fuel filter.
I'll now search for one of those and plumb it into my fuel supply line.
One of the VW filters I saw had (2) inlets and (1) outlet..
Wondering if (1) of the inlets could be used to feed back to tank..?
Cheers Tony
Well... Another month has passed and more progress made ..
Radiator coolant lines redone , connected and system refilled with coolant.
Fuel lines redone and incorporated a new pressure regulated fuel filter.
Was hoping to get it to VITS but had to take the Fastback instead.
Have only just found my auto elec has had to give up on the project due to workload and lack of knowledge.
With some more assistance from Andrew Todd of AGT in Sydney , I hope to get this thing running very soon.
An issue raised by my auto elec , was the lack of a fuel pump control module. The Mk5 R32 uses a module connected through the can bus to the ECU to operate the in-tank fuel pump.
My question is... Will the motor run correctly if this module is not used and instead, substituted with a relay triggered from the ignition..?
Cheers Tony
