Correct, just the fitting and balancing, plus some nice valve covers.

So I got my quote from TireRack, seems like a pretty good overall price. My only concern is that these tyres are not sold in AUS and if I get a flat I wont be able to easily replace it.

I did some price gathering yesterday and I can get some Khumo KU36s from my local Kmart Tyre & Auto for $900 fitted and balanced or around $800 from St Georges.

Are there any other tyres/tyre stores people would recommend, I'm chasing grip and precision with wear and noise taking a back seat, I have a budget of no more than $1000.

The Pilot Super Sports appear to best one of the best tyres on the market atm so they might be a hard option to beat.

Let me know what you guys think.
    Cheers.

I've run Hankook RS3's on the front for 15k and they have been great in dry and wet. Still plenty of tread left too.
Work even better when you get heat in them.

price up the Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric2s.

They have won many awards for overall performance and especially in wet weather capability.

I've had those on my S3, my son has them on his GTI and I have just installed them on my RS4 and very happy.

They also come with massive rim protectors if you love to kerb your wheels, and this actually makes them look up to 20mm wider than the treadwidth
