    Seats to suit my Jetta?

    Hi people,
has anyone changed their seats in a Jetta Mk5? Mine are good condition and leather but, not comfortable on long trips! My Audi A4 had better seats ( the only thing better). Just curious if other seats fit, I cant find any for sale or swap...i am chasing full leather...any ideas? thanks

From what I've seen, any of the seats from Audis (A3/4/5), Golfs, Octavia will be direct bolt-in. The airbag connector does vary so sometimes you have to do some surgery on the wiring.

Problem is with the 'sport' seats though, essentially they're the same seat, with only larger sides. The actual basics of seating don't change.

    -Length of the cushion
    -Angle of the cushion
    -Height of the lumbar
    -Height of the squab
    -Support around your shoulders
    -Foam density.

What's you actual issue? Sore back?

My left leg goes numb driving our Jetta. Girlfriend finds it ok though!

    Find ye some Recaros

I am a big bloke but, I find I get sore under my thighs.(mind you, I did 5000 kms in a week)
Previously my Audi A4 seemed to support better in that area.
    Thanks for everyone's input.

i've seen some Golf R seats (front and back) for sale either here or over at vwgolf.net.au. I think about $700 for the lot.

There's some Scirroco R Seats at vwgolf.net.au - full set for $550 IIRC. Cheap as chips if your willing to do some finessing to make them fit in the rear and look good.

The guy is a bit desperate for $$ hence low price

I have a set of S3 8L fronts , Leather. I bought them for my Mk2 VR6 project, but if I was offered the right amount I guess I could sell them as I selfishly have a full set Of Mk4 recaros too.
I haven't put them up for sale as I love them and think in the MK2 would be pukka but so would the recaros lol.
Id want $550 for the pair and like some of the guys have said full sets go for around that these days.
    See how you go.
    Cheers
