Look at fuel trim, block 032 what's that saying? Throttle body alignment if you had the battery disconnected.
Hi all,
Last weekend I changed the timing chain on my 2005 mkv golf gti. After I installed the new chain and tensioner and put everything back together the car idles like crap..... It drives absolutely fine but isn't idling smoothly until about 1200rpm. The computer is making it idle high.
I have tripple checked everything and all the hoses are connected.
My Ross tech spat out the p2279 code - leak in air system.
What's the best way to figure out where the leak is? As it doesn't appear to be anything obvious. I assume its coming from something I touched as it was fine before. I didn't touch the front pcv so don't think that's the culprit.
Cheers

You'll probably need a new PCV
Pressure Control Valve (PCV) - Euro Revolution
Car automatically does throttle body alignment when the key is removed from the ignition if the battery voltage is sufficient
