Hi All,
Have a mk5 golf gt sport diesel. It's in a pretty sad state, needs new brakes and has be de-commissioned for a few months.
Can you recommend a good mechanic in Brisbane to have it serviced/new brakes/roadworthy etc.
Someone that can make some legitimate suggestions on aftermarket brakes / be honest about costs across the board.
Cheers!

Current - 2015 Tiguan 155 R-Line.
Previous - Jetta MkV 147 Turbo, Viezu Raceday mapped, Carbonio CAI, Quad Exhaust System, R8 Coil pack, Whiteline Swaybar, GTi Steering wheel with paddles, Alloy pedals, RNS510 & Leather.
Where in Brisbane ? how far are you willing to travel?
Budget $300-350 each end for brakes.
MK4 GTI - Sold
MK5 Jetta Turbo - Sold
MK5 Jetta 2.Slow - Until it dies.
In Paddington - although aware will have to travel to some extent. Back left rotor/calipers (and potentially discs) will be busted - unfortunately driven for a while when braking was definitely metal on metal. Better off just getting new brakes across the board?

PM sent mate.
Quite a few good guys on the Southside as mentioned!
MY18 VW Passat Alltrack Wolfsburg Edition + Panoramic Sunroof + some extra goodies... (Pure White)
MY17 ŠKODA Superb 206TSI 4x4 + Sunroof + Tech Pack + Comfort Pack + some extra goodies... (Moon White)
Hi mate any chance you could let me know this contact on the southside also please? I need to get same thing done for my GT Sport. Front & rear brakes and need a new ignition switch. I was quoted ridiculous prices by Austral VW which is where my car has always been serviced. Wanting to find someone good with VWs but not charging the high prices.

I'm about to drop in at Phoenix Engineering (Woolloongabba) next week. Apparently a vw specialist. Jimmy (Alba) is awesome but so out of way for me unfortunately.
