    Question reversing camera

    Hi guys
    Have an eonon D5152 fitted to my 2007 vw Jetta .Have wired up reversing camera .When ignition on and engine not running picture on reverse camera is fine. But as soon as engine started picture in reversing camera starts rolling. Any suggestion of how to fix this problem.

    Sounds like some sort if interference....may be ask the supplier of your camera if know issue...VDUB...

    i had the same issue with my s3 mate, are you taking the power from the reverse light? afaik the reverse light power is a pulsed signal, hence the flickering...

    try taking power from a 12v source wired from the ignition, this should hopefully fix it. it worked for me, good luck...

    Thanks for that. Yes am taking power from reverse light .will try the power socket in the boot .

    where did you pick up power wire from .tried power socket in boot and camera stayed on all the time even when not in reverse.any thoughts

    I think youll find that the socket in the boot is constant 12v, hence why its on all the time. When i installed mine in my R36, i actually used the reversing trigger wire to trigger a normal relay which i set up so that the power was coming from a stable source. It is just a matter of running wires. I was lucky enough to have the battery in the rear which made it even easier. Best of luck
