Owner's Manuals for GT Sport TDI

    Hey guys,

Being new to this forum and being a new Volkswagen owner (first car!! ), I didn't realise when I got my car that the owner's manuals and service books were missing. I tried to contact the previous owner and the dealership which the manuals were supposed to be at (after they were taken out of the car by the mechanics there to check about the vehicles ECU), and both parties say they don't have them. After a lot of hassling I don't think I'll be able to get them back from Peninsula VW (very poor service in my opinion, they were really rude and pushy when I bought the car, even though I wasn't buying it from them. Probably because they missed out on a profit as I chose to repair the ECU elsewhere).
Anyway enough blabbing on, is there any way I can get a new set of service books and manuals? I've contact my dealership (Essendon VW) and they said they don't have any. Is there any place I can get a new set? Or how can I retrieve my old one? My car is a MY08 Golf GT Sport TDI

Thanks for taking the time to read this

You should be able to get a print out of what service work has been done by VW. Especially as VW are no longer supplying service books in some markets. Otherwise, get somebody to .pdf a page for you & then make your own book. I added pages to mine as I was running out

VW AU customer service might be able to help with the books or look for a .pdf online.

Unless you find manuals and a blank service book online somewhere you can order a complete booklet replacement from volkswagen at your local dealer
