Not sure of your brake setup but if you're worried about dust you could try ATE ceramic pads. Transporter installed them on my car (with silver wheels) and there's nothing there after a few months - mostly road grime/oil/dirt not the usual black brake dust.

    ^^^^^ this!

    Fit some low dust pads.

Give the wheels several coats of sealant.

    problem solved

HSY are the australian importer / distributor. They should be able to point you to a retailer

In order to combat the brake dust, I did fit ceramic pads on my rears at the last service (they were due for replacement anyway). I still run stock pads on the fronts as they had plenty of meat left on them. There is no clear difference between the dust levels between the fronts/rears.

I read somewhere that the discs also play a part in the dust levels as they are designed to wear with the pads. Apparently this helped with cold weather braking performance in northern Europe.

In order to get the warranty on the ATE products you need to get new pads and discs at the same time - I'm sure this would play a role in minimising the dust too as the pads and discs would be designed to work optimally together. I too have stock ones one the front and ATE on the back and the difference is night and day.
