New headlining, sunroof blind now won't close smoothly

Hi guys

Had the headliner fabric replaced, however am having issues with the sunroof slider / blind not closing smoothly. Repairers believe that this has nothing to do with the headliner replacement and believes its coincidental that this has occurred.

Can someone point me at the right direction on what may be causing this, or if the headlining replacement may have affected this.
