Hi guys,

My driver side ballast is dead and i purchased a new one but the new one is 12v 35w and the oem is 1200v 35w (according to whats engraved on the ballast itself). Are they the same?

Also i realised after changing the new ballast, my driver side is brighter than the other side. The passenger side is like a cooler white/blue colour. Something to note, my bulbs were new and i got both side replaced then one side of the ballast failed. I've been driving with one headlight for about a month. Will that affect the colour outout of the bulbs too? As the driver side bulb is new and the headlight wasn't working so it hasnt fired at all compared to the other side.

I heard its recommended to change both the ballast at the same time.

Any advise is much appreciated guys.
