Love the look of both the photo effect and the GT Sport in the backround

Another one before the weather turns sour.
Darker than I would have liked but it was taken in the late arvo.

You say that it's darker than you would've liked it but it's an awesome effect that you've got going.. What do you do to make it look like this? (Photography amateur)

    Don't worry, that's never a bad thing when you own a Mk5

    Thanks!
I'm just starting out with photography as well. The last few photos I've posted have been merged as HDR in photoshop, adjusted brightness/contrast and then tone mapped.

Those are the guides I've followed.
In the pic that I posted on the 14th I did the same as above, but then ran it through a hard light filter in photoshop. Which gave it that shiny colourful reflective look.

    Hope that helps.
Most of the time I just fiddle around with various blend modes, filters etc.

    Hehe suppose thats true!
I don't know why...I just feel compelled to take photos if I see a nice spot.

    edit:
Whoops! Forgot the most important thing.
To process HDR (even if mine aren't true HDR...I'm not using a tripod or proper exposure techniques) you need to have atleast 3 different exposures of the same image. To accomplish this, if you have a tripod you can do it manually. I.e take one photo, change exposure down, then take another and then change it higher and take another. In my case I've been using the easy way out. Its called Auto Exposure Bracketing. Not all cameras support it though. When enabled, it basically takes 3 photos of differing exposures automatically. So it saves you having to use a tripod etc.
