    MK5 golf rear speakers

    Hi,
Im looking at installing a subwoofer and i was wondering if anyone knew where the most rear speakers were that aren't placed in the doors. Im wanting to connect a line level converter onto that speaker and run it to my amp to give signal.
any help would be great, thanks,

    Hi swenet01,
The rear doors would be the closest point as the stock amp location is under the passenger seat

    Thanks Tony!

are the cables labeled on the amp? is the amp under the carpet? and finally, i have 5m of RCA in my wiring kit, if i was going from the amp to the boot, would that do fine?

Thanks in advance, a real big help!

You would know if you have the stock amp already - 3way speakers in the front doors, and it sits on the carpet, so you would see it.

5m of RCA would certainly go from under the passenger seat to the boot

if you have not already seen these, then i would suggest getting one, they make the process so much easier

It's fine, i got it all to work, i found a wiring diagram (i can link if anyone needs) that told me what wires to strip in the main loom down the trims. I used the 12v accessory port in the boot for the remote, and the ground near the rear light. All works well and sounds great!
