When I start the car the red writing ( trip meter fuel usage etc etc) between the tacho and speedo is crystal clear but gets progressively unreadable after a little while. What is the problem here and how do I address it? Cheers.

Hi LIvo,

My Daughters Golf does the same thing it appears that the LCD panel needs replaceing. We put it on the list of things to fix so far just live with it.

Mine fades on a hot day. Comes back to life as it cools down.
